I receive a lot of questions regarding weddings, my services and what I offer. Here I aim to answer some of the more frequently asked questions that I receive.

Do you work alone?

I’d say that I shoot around 80% of weddings alone. I am typically able to capture the full day without too much assistance. Having a second photographer can be a great option, however. I have a couple of regular second shooters that I work with and can asses whether you will require one once we’ve had a chat about the big day :)

Do you travel?

I do indeed. I am based in Queenstown but I love to travel for work. I have captured weddings all over New Zealand, in the US and Mexico. I also have some bookings in Europe in 2023. I cover the whole of NZ with my standard packages and offer great options for anyone, anywhere.

What are your prices?

I offer a range of packages and options to suit many budgets. My wedding packages start from nz$3250. For more pricing info, feel free to get in touch via my contact page.

I take a retainer of $1000 to secure any booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.

If the wedding is postponed due to COVID, you can transfer the booking to your new date. You will not lose your deposit if I am available on the new date.

All of your beautiful images will be uploaded into an online gallery. You will be given a secure link to the gallery that you can share with family and friends. You can also download the full, high-resolution images directly from the gallery.

Once the images are sent to you, they are yours to use as you please. You can post them online, share them with family and friends, print them, anything you like :) I retain some rights to the images to use on my website or for the promotional purposes of my business. However, I value your privacy and if you would prefer that I don’t use or post your images then that is completely fine.

Regarding photography, there is no such thing as bad weather :) With enough experience you can achieve amazing images, even in the heaviest of rain. If it rains on your big day, there’s no need to worry, it will make for a super memorable day and the images will still turn out great.

I require a meal for all bookings over 6 hours. Just like you, I have to eat to keep my energy levels up. If a meal cannot be provided, I will take a 1 hour break to leave the venue for a meal. If you can provide a meal onsite it will take 15 minutes and I can be straight back to capturing the day for you.

Absolutely! I completely understand that most people aren’t super comfortable in front of the camera. Personally, I am much more comfortable behind it than I am in front of it. My style is very laid-back and approachable. I focus on capturing the real moments that aren’t super forced. I will make the photos as fun, easy and stress-free as possible, even for the most camera-shy couples. I also have a blog on tips for introverted couples. You can check it out here.
