Aoraki/Mt Cook

The road to Mt Cook.

Aoraki/Mt Cook…

The National Park named after New Zealand’s highest Peak, Aoraki/Mt Cook is home to some of the absolute best scenery in all of New Zealand, and it’s one of my all-time favourite places to shoot.

The National Park has a couple of options for larger weddings, such as The Hermitage Hotel or Breamar Station, which offer incredible views of New Zealand’s highest peaks and largest Glaciers.

If you’re planning an elopement or smaller wedding and are considering Mt Cook, there are many different outdoor locations to choose from. You can fly to the top of NZ’s longest Glacier, or say I do in the alpine meadows overlooking the mighty Mt Cook.

Mt Cook is also the perfect location for pre-wedding, post-wedding and engagement/couples shoots.

Here are some of my favourite images taken at various locations around Mt Cook.

Feel free to reach out anytime for more information on Mt Cook and the possible options for your wedding/shoot.
